Posted August 1, 200817 yr okay so my mum needed a new fridge and stove so I went with her to advise and it just so happened that the bird shop was just up the street hmmmmmm and Barney looked so lonely in his quarantine cage all by himself so I stuck my head in and came out with these 2, I haven't named them yet but here they are My husbands so going to kill me but Barney now has friends for the next month and that is all that really matters isn't it
August 1, 200817 yr They are lovely, great buy I can hardly ever leave a bird shop without bringing someone new home hehe
August 1, 200817 yr they are lovely, do assume that they are sibling because of the mutations and coloring so you know when you breed . Keep them in a 30 day quarantine away from your flock, I am sure you know but I like to put that out for others too.
August 1, 200817 yr Author Thanks Elly I only got Barney the other day so he will only have to spend a few extra days in quarantine and they are from the same place so i was wondering if him and the first boy were from the same clutch.
August 1, 200817 yr I am going with that fact that if you got them from the same place they are all from the same clutch.
August 1, 200817 yr Author I know the second boy isn't he has a ring on and is abit older than the other 2 and he is a greywing while the other 2 aren't but it it's good to have someone else think the same, makes me feel like i am getting a clue
August 1, 200817 yr Did you get Barney from the same place? If not you should have him in a separate quarratine cage to your new ones.
August 2, 200817 yr Author Yep Barney is from the same place and i got him the other day so he will only have to spend a couple of extra days in quarantine
