Hi All,

 

I am looking for a new house for my little one. I found a couple on Ebay:

However the bar spacing is 1.6cm. I have one budgie and not sure if that spacing is too big?

 

If there is anyone that knows of a good shop in Perth WA or website that ships to Perth WA that sells safe and nice indoor budgie cages please let me know. All of the ones I have found so far in shops are plastic and really small.

Those are really parrot or weiro ( tiel ) cages and you dont need open top ones for budgies. Best cage for a budgie is wider rather than taller so they can fly across the cage from perch to perch. The best kind is rectangular but wider rather than tall. Unfortunately most practical and best cages for budgies are the decorative and pretty ones.

i'm just looking on Ebay for 'Cage A' that is in that article. that looks like a great cage. He is out of the cage whenever we are at home but i want something that he will be comfortable in while we are at work.

Good size for one Budgie unless you want something bigger. I use these as breeding cages as do many forum members I also think this is the same as Cage A you where talking about.
