Posted July 29, 200816 yr Hi all I am new to the website and just getting back into show budgerigars. I used to breed show birds a few years back with my father when i was younger but due to moving house and then moving out of home and now renting it has made things a little hard to get a bird room up and running. I am looking to start up again real soon once i buy a house. Just thought that i would post this link of some top birds in germany as they are just fantastic. ---> http://www.dsv-ev.de/index.php?topic=galerie John

July 30, 200816 yr Hi and welcome Good luck with getting into breeding show budgies again Nice website and not far from me :hap: . I love the second one - YF Cinnamon grey hen. But I don't think I want to show budgies :hap:
July 30, 200816 yr Author I love the challenge of trying to improve on what you already have. I also enjoy it when you get a different colour than what you have paired together. I enjoy the hobby , it is very relaxing.
October 20, 200816 yr Firstly Hi Super Spangle, although you probably joined the forum before I did, I have just scrolled through the attached photos and is that the rarely bred BLACK BUDGERIGAR :what: I see And if not who reads German on this forum and can tell me what the heck it says. You can't miss it is 1/2 of the way down the photos and it has a white head and what I can only describe as a black body. If it's a grey its a very DARK GREY. Thanks Carolyn alais Budgielover13 Edited October 20, 200816 yr by Budgielover13
October 20, 200816 yr No after I little more research in the mutation section I realize it is not, that after reading one of Kaz's posts about her father-in-law was it? A black is totally black like a raven, but I also saw some pictures of the blackface budgie that's amazing in itself. I would love to see a picture of a pure black budgie , as I'm sure most of us here on the forum would.
