If they have already bred twice this year they need to have a long rest. Most breeders only breed their budgies twice a year at the most. How old are your birds?

Well the budgie i was talking about (layed a clutch last year and 2 this year)

she is currently sitting on the second clutch this year, due to hatch in about 1 week.

All of my budgies are 9 months to about 1 and a half years old.

There is only one budgie that is still a baby ( 4 months)

OMG! Budgies need to be at least 12months old before they breed! A budgie that is 9 months old is still a baby!

Ive got 11 budgies.

How old is the one that you bred last year?

The one i bred last year was..... Dad was 1 yr and female was told over year but was only young.

Had two babies then this yearhim and her had 4 babies. I was going to remove her when they left the nest

but she was already sitting on an egg from her son. He is always going in their to feed her and sits in there while mum goes and eats.

The son is only young but is looking after them properly.

I would be taking the nest boxes out personally, shouldn't have nest boxes in an aviary if some birds are under a year old. Also, are your lovebirds still in the aviary? (just noticed your sig)

noooooo my lovebirds are in a different little aviary, My dad is making an extentsion to the other aviary about half the size for the lovebirds, also do you know how to tell the sex of a lovebird?

I have 3 peach face and 1 black masked.

Ah , I was at the vet today to get my Love bird Gromet Clipped and Sexed - They couldnt do the surgery sexing until Sat but he is a male over 1 year old - Look at their necks, the thin ones are female

Brittany ...I think you have jumped in the deep end without knowledge. You can get excited about budgie babies but you are breeding with anything that decides to breed in your aviary...mother to son ??? and you have young birds in there with nesting boxes which will make them breed too young too. You started breeding and only now you ask the questions. We are happy to help BUT you should have researched before you put nestboxes in there. You are doing it all wrong
