He's hanging upside down a lot and lying very low when its not doing bat impresions.He's always been a bit of a tail bobber.The vet said his weight and dropings look okay ((black and white) and gave me some anti bioptic,2 drops a day.This hanging upside down on the perch,perhaps whatevers up with it makes him more comfortable?Hes not fuffed up yet.Anybody ever seen this before.

yes when my mum first ot her budgie he hung off the perches. he also used to twizzle right round the perches.

my budgie sometimes likes to hang upside down clinging onto the cage bars and eat his seeds! i dont know how he can possibly eat like that.

Tweetie hangs upside down, also clings wto the wire on her cage and walks upside down between her legs, must be double jointed, our back aches just watching her.When she was very young approx 5 weeks sheused to throw outr her seed and sleep in the food tray.

Several of my budgies like hanging upside down. It's just something they do for fun! One of my budgies gets in the corner of her cage, stands on her head and then falls asleep! The first time i saw her do this i was really worried but i think she found it relaxing!

I think they love hanging upside down and playing around it?s just a natural thing to do.

I hope the antibiotics work and the bird improves.

I spray my birds in the aviary with bird mite spray as there outside and get a lot of other birds coming into contact with them landing on the cage and stuff.

I also give them worming treatment 3 times a year never taken any to the vet thou.

I think if you give them plenty of greens and good quality food you should have no real problems.

when we first got Baby our budgie that sounds like a canary. she would sleep like a bat for some-reason i thought i was personality,one of her quirks,or because snowcone our other parakeet would attempt to bite,peck,and fuss at Baby cuz at first Snowcone would try to peck at Baby's feet for some-reason. but now they have their own designated bird swings Baby's is yellow like her and Snowcone's swing is the green swing,Every time one gets even two or three inches away from the other they'll make an angry chitter noise they even fight over who gets which feeder for some-reason!??????????
