Personally, I would turn the roller door into a hinged door. I would hate for a roller to get jammed and the door get stuck open :budgiedance:

Awsome Neat!!! but I hate roller doors. They always get stuff caught in the groove and always end up getting stuck. Great size though... imagine all the budgies you could fit in there!

I have a little avairy with a roller door

This one stated needed a new roller, But I am way ahead of you guys New door will be installed

Looks good Neat, looks like a sliding door to me not a roller door…looks like it will need a safety area door looks pretty big for the size of the aviary, very easy for birds to fly out as you go in or out. I have aviaries that are joined & these days I have so many “tame” birds that ride on my back & move from aviary to aviary if I’m not careful. PURPLE sounds great.

Yeah there will be a safety door built onto this avairy :hap: So that is what I am planning though lol......

I am not impressed with the avairy though .

 

Dave picked it up and ARRGGGHHHH

1. it is sage green ( means undercoating it so I can paint it purple Grrr)

2. all the mesh is stuff on it , Rusted, Corroded (*sp ) and falling off .... I have got my new wire and Monday I will undo the wire redo new wire wash the new wire with Vingar solution ( 1:10) and clean it all up then assess it ... It is Big ... The roller door is completely stuffed I will be replacing that with a hinged door and then hosing the roof to check for leaks

So YAH and grrrrrrrrr. At least it will keep you out of trouble girl I'd love to see before, during and after photos please
