August 18, 200816 yr 3!!! :parrot: Oh sooooo cute Jenene... I love their fluff!!! A wise woman once told me ( :hap: Kaz) to always remove the empty egg shells once they hatch, as they can get wrapped around unhatched ones making it harder for them to hatch. Just a reminder...

August 19, 200816 yr Author I checked on my babies this afternoon, the last egg has not hatched. All 3 babies are doing very well. I have just one question though, as you can see in the photo 2 of the chicks have yellow fluff, and the last one to hatch has white. I am presuming the yellow ones are lutinos like their father, and the white one? Not sure what the mother is called, she's a very pale silver??
September 2, 200816 yr Author I have brought my babies inside to start handrearing today, look how much they've grown!! They are only 15 days old!! Edited September 2, 200816 yr by jenene283
September 2, 200816 yr Author They have just had their first feed from the spoon and took to it straight away! They are all cuddled up together in their cosy little brooder with nice clean shavings and they look as snug as a bug in a rug. I'm in love!!
