Posted July 27, 200816 yr Hi everyone just thought i would give you an update on my family, Tom, Jerry, Zac and Eddie have all been moved in to a new home and are living it up with abit more space to fly around and new perche, i have the best park up the road full of gum trees and natural perches everywhere for free. Fred has moved in with Jack to keep him company (Jack is my pride and joy so has been inside for the winter), although they haven't become the best of mates they tolerate each other and Jack seems to have abit more life in him now. Penny, Amilea, Jordan and Roxy are still in quarantine for the next 12 days and seem healthy and content, i can't wait to introduce them to the boys. And last but not least Betty Blue and Pluto are in the breeding cage getting to know each other, i don't think it is going to well, will give it few more days and see what happens. Everyone seems to have decided that it is malting time so i have feathers everywhere, (can anyone suggest a website that sells malt ease cause i cant find it in any of the shops near me). I am still having no success with getting any of them to eat their veggies, some of them will nibble on the sweetcorn but thats it , i even springle the millet over them but most of them wont even eat that. I swear i have the most weird budgie ever, not only wont they touch all the goodies i offer them but not one of them touches the toys i have for them or the calcium and mineral bells i gave them. I have posted questions in the right places and will keep you updated how things are going when it comes time to pairing them up Hope everyone is well Have a great day Charlie
July 28, 200816 yr I use a multi vitamin supplement, which is about the same as the moult eaze. The south Australian bird company on MN road should have some, otherwise Camsal aviaries in Elizabeth has some
July 28, 200816 yr Author Hey Liv thanks for that I already give them a multi vitamin supplement in their water every couple of days because they refuse to eat their veggies so you think that will do instead of the moult ease?
July 28, 200816 yr With Veggies try silverbeet and also with Corn I find my guys will eat it off the cob but not cut up on a plate, go figure. So get some fruit sticks and put the corn cob on that and see how you go. Also Celery tops are another firm fav of my guys.
