July 26, 200816 yr I am gob smacked... what a bird!!! I know nothing about show budgies or showing, but he is amazing!
July 26, 200816 yr Nice big chest and shoulders too! How old is he? Im still too scared to pay that much, but I am by no means questioning his worth.
July 26, 200816 yr Author He's 2 1/2 years old. I had a budget of more for him when I saw him but didn't need to got to it.
July 26, 200816 yr Daz, I was trying to pick my favorite but I simply can't they are all stunning, you can really see the the difference from your show birds to others, they are amazing. Here are some things I enjoy about them from the pet owner side not looking at it from a show side. 1 bird, I love the color of this green and the pied marking it is just beautiful 2 bird, you probably don't know but I have a thing for dark blue budgie feet and you don't see them that often, this bird green is stunning and the cheek patches are so pretty. 3 bird, the color yet again and I love the way it runs through the wings, good stance too very proud looking bird 4, 5, 6, are so cute lol and fluffy esp the fluffy one, the normal green is just stunning and I am not a fan of the normal green color 7 bird, loving that gree 8th bird WOW is that the back? Or a Different bird and what is the mutation of this bird? 9, the mauve yellow face, is he carrying the violet gene too I see some suffusion or a different blue there in the neck he is stunning and lastly...I believe Grey...you can send him my way or just pack them all and Kaz can throw in her birds I have been waiting for too lol. Great job Daz!
July 26, 200816 yr Author The 8th Bird is a 6 week old Spangle. This is the correct wing marking of the Spangle. It has been lost over time by bad breeding and I want to bring it back. The 9th Bird is a Yellow face grey. Just the photo showes him as a violet mauve.
July 27, 200816 yr Hi You have very nice birds. I especially like the grey male with the yellow face.
July 29, 200816 yr thats an o.k double factor daz but its a little bit expensive were was it from again and what were you breeding it to ? i think it needs to be put with a hen thats long as he is lacking in length and is there for short his chicks need length and a bigger blow he also needs head width in his chicks are you a show breeder ? but he is a nice colour ! cheers joel Edited July 29, 200816 yr by birdluv Fixed spelling mistakes
