She is a Skyblue carring violet Now I can't be too sure of the rest as I am looking at her wings and HAven't the slightest!

She is a spangle and he, just taking a stab in the dark without seeing the back of his wings is a sky blue dom pied opaline?

and Neat is right the chicks will be opalines. a mix of sky blues and cobalts ( as in that second picture your male looks cobalt to me) and a mix of spangles, pieds and spangle pieds.

Lol i need him too much he sure is cute !!!!!! and shes beautiful too....so we going to have a mixture .........so are the pair good Gene line budgies for breeding ...... are these birds we have hard to get hold of or are they common ? because i have no idea as to what is popular with breeders or what isnt ....lol newbie here just wanting some clues on what colours to breed or genes to have to breed with .iam fasinated in the beautiful colours and the characteristics of the birds its truly wonderful to observe them all.............. They aren't hard to find - Mutation wise - Popular with me as I love the Blues -

that is their full types. they are common and popular to most people beucase they look so interesting. I say if you are starting gather the types and looks of budgies that you like, if you get green becuase 'breeders' like them but you like blues they you are not going to continue.
