Posted July 21, 200816 yr I spent yesterday afternoon checking rings and getting individual pictures of the birds for my records and thought I would share a few Tibet Nirvana Karma Nimbus Buddy Ripper - I dunno yet if his name will stick, but when I was taking the pictures and he sat up and posed so nicely I said "Well, youre just a little ripper arent you!" and so.......hrm lol Griffin Phoenix
July 21, 200816 yr Great Buys!!! Ripper is VERY handsome I can see them much clearer now that they are all sorted I dont know anything about TCB..... But I like their look. You have some very nice birds and i look forward to seeing their chicks
July 22, 200816 yr By the look of the rings on a couple of these birds are not young birds. What year are they.
July 22, 200816 yr Author I will have to wait til I get home to check on the individual birds, but the majority of them were 06 and 07 birds, I think there were a couple of 05's and one 04 cock from memory. Was there a particular bird you were referring to? Edited July 22, 200816 yr by Sunnie
July 22, 200816 yr Nirvana Is this one the one from the first row that you pointed out to me??? If so... i bidded on him too, then saw you bidding so I stopped - i cant remember if you won him though - If it's him, I am so pleased you won him, he is very nice
July 22, 200816 yr Author Liv - not really sure, I would have to check the dockets lol. I was actually going to bring them into work today and write them up on the computer for records, but didnt bring them today. AV - As soon as I have my next breeding cabinet available, I will be putting Griffin and Phoenix down together, so hopefully they will give me babies They have been doing a little flirting in the holding cage, so hopefully they are already in luuuuuuuurve lol
July 22, 200816 yr Oh maybe you will have babies ready to go by mid Jan? If so I will have to see if we can go via Adl from perth back to melbourne to stop and steal some
July 22, 200816 yr Author By the look of the rings on a couple of these birds are not young birds. What year are they. The oldest bird on this page is Phoenix and she is 3. Liv - Nirvana may have been the cock you were bidding on, he was only lot no 35. I didnt realise you were bidding on him though
July 22, 200816 yr hehe.. Yep, I was bidding on him... that's okay it was a last minute choice to bid on him as i knew i wouldn't be able to stay and bid on the other i liked. Once I saw you bid i stopped - I think there was 3 people bidding on him - popular boy It's no problem though. I got another grey who should be great with Lady
July 22, 200816 yr VERY NICE - I have a bird called Nimbus to and I am going to steal the rest of your names
July 22, 200816 yr Author HAHAHA You go right ahead - I am flattered you like them My fiance actually named Nimbus, he was hanging off the top of the cage with one leg and he said "look at that clown" and I laughed and said he looks like a cloud not a clown and he came up with Nimbus hehe
