Eggs candled and I removed five to another nestbox..........leaving this pair with 6.

I agree guys... surely you don't need 11 babies!!!! I'll give you my address, pop it in their beaks and send them on their way........... :D

First chick hatched today...a lively little pink jellybean with black eyes. :blink:

A friend expressed some concern that perhaps the hen ( TROOPER as named by Liv ) would be getting thin or out of condition. I just caught her and checked her and she is as plump and healthy as she can be, feathers glossy, and no stress. All good :blink:

I am sure she is in tip top health - They eat to well at your home :blink:

thanks for informing us - I am sure that there would be some members concerned for her as well

Kaz, I definately think its time to ring Guiness Book of Records, that's just amazing!!! Crikey you'd only have to breed her for a couple of seasons and your avairy would be choccers, just from the one pair. Although you'd need more than the one pair for the raising of the chicks. :)
