October 2, 200816 yr Author Wow Kaz they are stunning babies, you should be very pleased with them. One of my hens laid 9 eggs and she sat on them all and every one hatched but as I ringed them I transferred them to foster nest and left her with 4. If this hen does the same as before and has that many too, this time she can keep all eggs to incubate. The cock helps her do that. Last time I moved eggs and the foster mum threw out the eggs with chicks in them. This time she can incubate and hatch them all and I, too, will move chicks only. Here is chick two. perches well enough for the Unbroken Cap show on Sunday so I will take it Here is the youngest chick from this pair but in the foster nest...coming up well. October 6, 200816 yr Author Hehe no suprises there  You were bound to win with your birds All depends on the competition on the day, the judge and how he sees things, and if your bird stays on the perch and "shows" at just the right time.
