Hi all i was given this Budgie about 2days ago i have it on its own away from my other pair , could someone help me with its gene please and what age would it be ? Would it be worth keeping to get a mate for it or not i dont know if it is male or female can anyone help with that too it would be greatly appreciated thank you ..........heres a picture i hope it works and is right size ......

Does it have red or black eyes? They look black to me so it might be a double factor spangle

It's a pied, there's markings under it's tail which eliminates DF spangle, plus it has no iris rings and a pink cere and pink feet, i'd say recessive pied.
