cuties what colour is the two main tail feathers of the one on the left in the second picture?

You need to put on the backlight or fill in flash for those types of pics when the background is lighter then the subject if you have that on your camera and you won't have that anymore. The babies are adorable.

that is only if we want to figure out the mutation, but I think in that picture you accomplished the "black budgie"

they are cuties, did the pinkies hatch alot later than the first 3? they are so tiny compared to the older ones.

Yeah they did almost a week later and the pinks hatched one after the other

Be careful with too much nesting material, sometimes you can lose "jellybeans" under it and they either starve or freeze to death.

thanks neat, just asking as the wings seems to be looking spangle...as i can't teel much from the parent picture i'm not sure if either one if them is a spangle or not. white tail feathers is a sign of spangle too.. that or pied.
