July 14, 200817 yr Author welcome and your birds are very lovely, yes what is on her head? i dont really know..they mark some birds around here for some reason..but it was temporary..it got removed after she grew new feathers..
July 14, 200817 yr Maybe to tell the difference between similiar looking birds. :shrug: We used to do that with a non-toxic marker to tell the difference between yellow day old chicks.
