July 10, 200816 yr YOu could get home in 3 days, but have a look around (although it may be too hot during the day) there are some interesting spots on the nullarbor and through Sth Aust I have driven it a few times. If you do the Nullarbor towards the WA/SA border at night you will see dingoes on the side of the road (during the day too sometimes) Are you moving over with him at some stage or is he just working for a while here?
July 10, 200816 yr Author Nope I'm staying put. He is in the Navy and is going on a ship for six months. The cruise leaves from Perth so he has to go there for one year.
July 10, 200816 yr So you dont see him for 12 months? Hmmm could be a good thing!! How many kids have you got? Think how many birds you'll have by the time he gets home LOL

It takes a strong woman to do what you are doing. i would go stir crazy if i was without my man for that long - i am not one for long distance relationships and I would be worried sick every day until he returned  My hubby is in defense too but we stay put
July 10, 200816 yr Author We stay put too, I moved away from him to go to uni! He has been in the navy for six years so far and has always lived in Nowra. I actually think it works well, it's like having three children when he's home

July 10, 200816 yr Author He's here about every three weeks so he's not gone for long. We were actually living about 350km from each other when our relationship started, now it's more like 1000km. That was eight years and two kids ago so it works fine for us
July 10, 200816 yr hehe - I was referring to the reuniting part .... you know.... that 'thing' we cant talk about on here - would be like the first time, every time hehe
July 10, 200816 yr hahaha me, in the gutter - no NEVER :hap: Â I have done over 50 posts today I think its time to stop looking at the computer
July 10, 200816 yr Author Yeah I knew what youwere getting at. But I have two kids so I can ignore anything
July 10, 200816 yr Yeah I knew what youwere getting at. But I have two kids so I can ignore anything  Phew! Thats okay then - I was worried i might have come across wrong. I didn't want you thinking i was being mean.
July 10, 200816 yr Liv they have two kids who are well... let just say they look angelic but.... best contrceptive method there is!
July 10, 200816 yr I still like your youngest.. all sweet and angelic and then he spies the jam donuts.......
December 2, 200816 yr I'm with ya Kaz, have been waiting for updates for aagggeeessss...........
December 2, 200816 yr Author Unfortunately I had to make the choice between roadtripping and buying a house a few months earlier, so the house won. We are hoping though that we might be able to do it at another stage once we have our house in our hot little hands
December 2, 200816 yr Author No, no, no. What you have to do is breed them so that by the time I arrive they will have tripled in number  Or maybe in your case quadrupled since you seem to have wonder birds
December 2, 200816 yr :bump: Well actually KAZ I will be up in Canberra while SummerNats is on. I think you should drive the Herse accross and fill the back with birds... Â I can't promise that I'll share with MB but I'll try...
December 2, 200816 yr I might have room in the freight box to bring a couple back for you MB if you wanna pay freight from Adel to Vic and some petrol (because its a 3 hour round trip from here to our airport) If not in my box, we could get you another box, but that's another set of air fees though. Â I cant guarantee room in my box as we are going to an Auction next Saturday and would depend how expensive the birds get :bump: .... Â You could also freight some direct from Perth
December 2, 200816 yr Author I have thought about it Liv but I have been told to resist the urge to get more birds at the moment since we are looking to move soon and I have to save my money :bump:
