July 5, 200816 yr Completly. They have recreational sex as much as people do. Budgie sex does no instantly mean a nesting box needs to be added as eggs will not always follow. Some determined birds will lay eggs on the bottom of the cage/in seed dishes and so on, but these birds are in the minority.

July 5, 200816 yr If you don't want chicks then take the nesting box out, it may stop them from doing it so much it may not. But if it's not needed it's just taking up room so i would take it out.
