I have had two clutches from 1 of my pairs the first lot they had 1 albino, 2 spangles,1 recessive pied and 1 normal. In this new clutch so far i have 3 pink eyes inos and two black eyes. The parents are a sky spangle and a blue normal so does that mean that both are split to ino or is it just the dad? i get confused with the sex linked stuff

The cock is split for ino, a hen can't be split ino since if she had just one copy of it she would be an ino herself. The ino chicks will all be hens

So if i put that cock to an ino hen does that mean they would have 100% ino babies???

No, you would get approximately 1/4 normals cocks not split for ino, 1/4 ino cocks, 1/4 normal hens and 1/4 ino hens.

Too confusing! I think i will just keep these two together they seem to be doing fine in the ino department! LOL

Basically half your female chicks would be inos and half your male chicks would be inos, it's a good way to do it if you are chasing colours like cremino because it's the only way to get ino cocks, otherwise you will always have hens.

If you wanted 100% ino both the cock and hen would need to be ino's :D

sounds like you had some pretty cool surprises in the nest

Totally agree with MB on this one ....

I LOVE PINK EYES :D

You are right there i didnt know how i got what i got it took alot of extra reading to figure it out! I am eagerly awaiting some feathers on her latest lot! She is my best breeder out of all my birds so far every egg is always fertile. While we are on the ino subject i am just wondering how you get creaminos i have a female what would i put to her to get more? At the moment she is with a recessive pied green series.

That's where you need a cock who is definately split for ino or an ino cock. You need to put your split albino cock to a yellowface hen. All going well you should get cremino hens out of the pairing.

To get creamino you need atleast one of the birds to be YF and the cock has to carry the gene in either split of visual form
