Posted July 2, 200817 yr I just went out to my cabinet aviary to check on my new baby and noticed that the food containers had ants on them! This is on the second level cage they climbed up the wire! Is there any safe ways to get rid of them without poisoning the birds aswell?
July 2, 200817 yr What sort of cages/cabinets are they? I use the bird mite spray and spray it around the base of all the cabinets, that seems to deter them.

July 2, 200817 yr Yeah bird and Mite spray is what I use around the base of my patio cage and my indoor flight/breeding cages works a treat
July 2, 200817 yr I wouldnt worry about asking too many questions Missylu!! I'm always asking about the sex of my baby budgies, no one seems to mind helping me out, at least I dont think anyone minds! If you dont ask you wont learn!!
