We Got Babies!

Hi everyone!

Since I can remember, I have always had a tame bird of some sort. I would let them fly around the house, they would come when I whistled. I didn't know much about them though, just fed, watered and played a lot. When my daughter was old enough, I bought her a lovely white and blue budgie for her birthday, she called him Lil' Blue. He soon became a popular member of the family, terrorising the dog, Rags (border collie) and entertaining our guests with his antics. We lost him exactly one year later, he took off in a flock of galahs that went over the house, we hope someone found him and he is doing well.

For her next birthday, we built her an aviary, at the moment it houses three budgies, TeeBee(female), Speedy(male) and Cookie(male) and three new hatchlings! TeeBee and Speedy are the proud parents, but the happiest is my lovely daughter Ashleigh.

We will keep you posted!
