Hey all, Just wondering can I bird be split or masking the spangle gene ??????

I ask this as I have spangles in my nest and the parents aren't spangels

Nor is the other pair that is in their either

Explains the 2nd pair

This is the experiment Breeding that I was talking about earlier last month

As cabinet breeding for me was stressful on my hens , so I have 2 pairs in a aviary with 6 nest boxes

This experiment as proven successful, so far - and is working for me so

If you mean the chicks you posted pictures of that you think are spangles...they are texas clearbodies, Neat

spangle can be masked, but not split. But only certain mutation can mask it. Agree the other chicks are TCB's...
