A few people have talked about their budgies sleeping like this so I snapped a picture of mine. Here is from left to right Flame, Mozzie and Blue.

 

 

This has to be the coldest spot in the aviary but there they are!

 

Also so cute once I had snapped the photo they all woke and and where looking at me like, "Here mum do you mind!"

Great picture ... I hate when they sleep like that though. I always find they are so miserable the next day. They get on a perch & they don't want to budge. Silly pudge budge's.

My aviary birds use to sleep like that and my sons bird Poppy does but at the side of the cage in the corner! lol
