I will do, in a week-ish.

I forgot to mention that I cleaned the back room today and let the kids out for a fly. I set up a rope perch and covered the floor below it. I opened the cage door, and nothing... lol. I ended up getting them out. Mum also decided to join them for a small fly. The kids had a little fly, we had a few crash landings into the walls, but mostly it was quite successful. They flew around a little but were mainly just sitting on top of the cage chewing the rope perch (they've never seen it before). They were out for about 10 minutes, which was enough for their first time. Tonight, they're all happily nibbling at seed and crumbs on the floor of the cage, and settling in for the night. :)

Lovely babies maesie :P

I look forward to next weeks piccies!

Well, as promised, here are the updated photos. I now only have 5 babies. Yesterday I returned Crackle, Tweet Tweet and one baby (who Mum has named "GYPSY") They are all happy to back in the aviary and Gyspy is holding her own. I was around there today and Bert (tiel) jumped just over her to move position, and she had a go at his tail :( . I don't think she'll have any problems living the high life... so, here are my remaining four:

Thanks deb... the thing is, picture two and three are the same bird, picture three and the bird on left in the last two are the same, and the bird on the right in last two pics are the same... and I didn't get any good shots of number four... They look different from different angles and even when I look at them, they look different in the morning and at night. Oh man, it's so hard!!! I'm confident that "gypsy" is female as she bites so hard and her nostrils are definately white. So I'm happy she's in the aviary. I may have to give these guys more time to colour up.

i am totally confused now as well because they do look different from different angles.

Tell me about it!!! :hap:

okay so there are 4 babies??

if so, 1 girl the rest boys?

:hap: I cant tell any genders!!! :hap:

To me the photos are too hard because they are too close to the camera. Are you able to take photos of them from a distance? about 1 meter or so... just have them sitting together on their perches :hap:

I'll try for better photos tomorrow in the daylight. I can't promise they'll all sit together on the same perch facing me at the same time though!!! :hap:

Hahaha, haven't you trained them to do that yet. :D :hap:

lol... nope, but one of them decided it would be fun to tip the water bowl over and down the side of the cage... :P They have also taken to sitting in their seed tray and eating. When I checked on them before, I could only see two budgies... I was a little worried and then realised they were packed in on top of each other like sardines... :hap:

They sound so cute. i love watching my babies at this age, i love the way they play. My 2 little ones think it is fun to scratch all the seed out of the container and then sit in the empty dish.
