How long after an egg is laid can you start to see membranes when candling? Can you tell if it is fertile by the colour of the yolk before the membranes form? Probably a stupid question but i thought i would ask

Generally around 5 days and sometimes sooner. Having a really good candling torch helps. You will see a golden glow inside and red veins.
