June 20, 200817 yr well I am going to take a stab and say female and this is why, I remember a chick that Kaz showed me that had a really pink cere but it was flat and not smooth with the bulbous look around the nostrils and I swore it was a cock until she showed me the hen grown up and it was a female, but I could be wrong because it looks male to m at first glance. However Elly is right, in somecases the cere of a young cock, is more rounder and stand out more ( raise out more ) and a hens is more flatters ...
