She did

:) Saturday night I had just finished wiping up, and said to hubby I would go in and step-up with the new babies and give them a fly around the room, and with that tweetie flew over and landed on my shoulder. What a lovely suprise, she has never done that before, and I had my back to her at the time. We were still talking about it on Sunday night when hubby was washing up and she flew over to him and sat on his shoulder while he continued washing up, then back over to me.

Is she jealous on the new babies, or is she just comfortable with us. She even flew down on to the dogs bed, and they were still on it. My heart was in my mouth, but the dogs didnt move thankfully, Whew! I was scared stiff.

One minute she excites us and then she causes us to nealry have a heart attack.

But we still love her

Wow that would scare the bob out of me (Laughing out loud) really but the on the shoulder thing must really have made you happy wonder why she did it?

don't really know, but she has just done it again to hubby when he came home from work,as soon as he walked in the door. Cute isnt it

Humans = kinda tall, have shoulders that look like nice landing platforms, and hair which looks like leaves! *Fun fun!* thinks budgie. And convenient. :) And great to hear everyone is having fun, Cindy.

It's such a thrill when they do that isn't it!

Just a little word of warning-when ours started to do that to my hubby he almost forgot one day that Budgy2 was on his shoulder and nearly walked out of the front door. Also Budgy2 has swooped down on him just as he is about to go out,so just bear it in mind!

Enjoy!

:D oooh I did that. We had a house full of visitors and the phone rang, I took it out on to our front veranda, windows open, no door, to talk in peace, when the caller heard a crackiling sound, and I said oh dont worry its just someone eating the phone and its not me, then it hit me, Gad I'm outside and had to make a hasty retreat but not any sudden move to get inside before tweetie realised OOh theres some trees lets fly away. I've never done it again. In fact hubby laughs at me as each time I go outside I feel both my shoulders just in case. :(Laughing out loud):

It sure is, you actually feel physically sick with the fear of what could have been

Cindy

That happened once with and thankgully i caught it after well not me my grandpa he ran and it was sitting in the grass and bam he threw a cloth over it ;)

You were really lucky there.

julie

You think thats lucky my friend once had a budgie when he was really young and he told me it had flown away and it came back becasue they kept the cage out all night and the next morning it was back! What are the chances of that!

boy the chances of that happening again are slim.

I tried it once but the only thing that came back was the stray cat, not the bird

Cindy

i remember thr first time rocky landed on my shoulder. it thrilled me to the core. :)

Ive done that before with Bobbi, you get so used to them on your shoulder you just forget. We took him on holiday, at a holiday cottage in the middle of no-where.

There i was , merrily walking outdoors..opps then i realised Bobbi was on my shoulder! i sloooooooowly crept back in...phew he stayed there!

One of my dogs was a pup then, and she found a wasps nest in the garden, deep in a bush, we had to rush her to the emergncy vet..it was horrible.A holiday i will not forget in a hurry.Nearly lost them both that holiday, as the shock, and stings could have killed my young pup. When we got to the emergeny vet the wasps were still crawling out of her ears and fur.Since that day, the first thing i do, is find out where the nearest couple of vets are, and get all the numbers.

sorry, know its off subject.

Wow that would have scared me to death! Both events...
