Posted June 17, 200817 yr For you guys Why does he sit outside the box like that when she's in it? And I know she's not in condition so I won't get eggs so why does she go in and prepare the nest box?
June 17, 200817 yr Why are you breeding & have a next box in their cage if you know she is not in condition? I am confused on that? As for your questions, he is guarding the box when she is in it and she is preparing the box for laying eggs.

June 17, 200817 yr If you remove the box it would be better for both birds, I am going to move this to the breeding section since it is going in that direction.
