Tam And Edmund

Tam and Edmund have arrived at my house and are currently in quarantine.

Their owners are going overseas for 9 months, so they are staying at my place. I told Bornwyn, one of their owners, who obviously loves her birds, that when she comes back from her 9 months sailing adventure, if she calls me and says that she would really love her birds back, then they are hers, no questions asked. So they may be new housemates, or simply 9 month house guests.

Here they are trialling me new cage in quarantine.

Edmund is on the left. He is an Golden Face Type 2 skye blue opaline, spangle 1 year old cock. Tam is a sky blue spangle 4 year old hen.

I said I would regularly update pics on here on a regular basis so no matter where she is around the world, Bronwyn can see her birds.

Watching guard are Mac and Tess, with their bed hair looks, they are so cute!!!

They are beautiful birds especially Edmund. Mac and Tess are cute as well. That is great they you are helping your friends out by looking after their pets. i would find it hard to do it for 9 months because i would get too attached to them and would find it hard to give them back.

Friends is an interesting term here Deb. I did not know bronwyn and her other half before they messaged me on this board. They told me their situation and said that after reading my posts and about Ozzie (who i also rehomed) would I take Tam and Edmund. I agreed then and there. I did not ever meet Bronwyn until they dropped off the birds.

sorry Dave about using the word friend, i remember now about you posting about their request just forgot when i read your post to night. that is what happens when you are tired from not enough sleep and have just had 3 glasses of wine.

Really great of you Dave to open your warm heart and home to these two beautiful feathered pretties. Great that you have given previous owners the option of having them back with them some day if they would like to take up that kind offer

Good on Ya Dave,

Not everyone would do that for people they don't know, I am sure they are aware that they are in GREAT hands :D
