hi all again ...... my eldest baby is 5 weeks old now ...... is it too young to take him away from mum ....... i want to hand tame them ...... i have have found them out of the nest a few times now ..... just want to make sure before i do anything

Just make sure your little baby is eating by itself , Green food and millet sprays will help .

Post pics through Photobucket, then copy and paste to forum

I took my Latte and Cookie from the aviary at 5 weeks. What i did was when I brought them inside I brought their Dad in too. He kept feeding them when they were hungry, but i could hand tame them properly and stopped them going wild in the aviary :) It worked really well too :huh:

I will be doing this with my clutch for sure ....

I used to bring them in at 5 weeks hand feed them and tame them but they hated the food, this way they get feed

and can be tamed !!!!
