very unfortunate for both of you :budgiedance:, you have to find where they are nesting

Nesting site was ripped up last week and sent to the tip, only other place is the roof, which this one was vacating on it's death bed, so I think we're almost all clear now

that is good, I will never forget our the concert on our garage floor had raised up and cracked, we started to get mice and Tim finally figured out where they were, he broke up the concert lifted it up and we have never seen so many mice of all different sizes, ages and pinks it made me want to puke, I left I hate killing even when I know it has to be done. They relayed the concrete and never had an issue so they will nest any where.

ewwwww, gross. I once worked in a Farming place where we stored and tested wheat. There were hundreds of containers of it on shelves. When we were going through a mouse plague, you'd move a container and they would go scampering in all dirrections. They made my skin crawl and I had the hottest showers when I got home, just to feel clean... Sorry, a little :budgiedance:

They are nesting in the soft damp soil under the aviary and the room you walk through to access the aviaries.

What about Pouring petrol into their holes then light..... POOOF, smoked rat for the dogs??? hmmmm probably a bit to dangerous!!

What about those ZAPPER traps that electrocute the buggers????

They are under a shed in the soil and under concrete. The only time we see a hole is when they have come out and thats when we and the dogs go after them. The rat zapper traps are HUGELY expensive and dont last long. Once they get dirty or a film over the metal plate they dont work anymore. We can solve this if we can destroy the shed and dig up the floor. The way the shed has been put in between two aviaries and with a step down and concrete all round would make it difficult to remove right now.
