Well it was the Queens Birthday today (NSW) , so it was a day off , As I didnt have The most wonderful person with me today (my Son ,At his mums), I found myself with a free day . What to do .

So I get up this morning ,Late, Which I blame Libby for !! Thanks  .

And think what does a single bloke do with a day to himself , well its was down to the avairy.

On the way I pruned the Roses and snaped this shot.

Its a rose called "Seductions" and one of the most perfumed of the rose family .

So walking towards the back Ive taken a photo of my rainforest garden ,A work in progress

Avairy is behind.

A lily in the garden.

Some of my Orchids , People think they are hard to look after , but I have found the opposite , I treat them with no respect ,Divide them with an axe and hardly ever water them . The secret is to find a spot in the garden that they like .

My Avairy

Where I do the washing up and prep of food Etc

queensbdaybudgies029.jpg

The feed table , Its a cat bowl inside a litter tray , This gives all the birds a chance to get a feed without to many fights and the husks are easily cleaned out , not too much going on the floor.

Green food is fed on the floor , there is a piece of sandstone under the tray , the birds seem to like chewing on it , I feed Cabbage , Spinach and grated carrot and some corn tossed in .

In the little bowls are Grits, Charcol, Egg and biscuit and a mineral powder.

They dont have names , Except ******* when a cock does the wrong thing and ***** when its the hens fault.

LOL, I know that feeling !

They happen to be the most popular names for budgies hahahaha

I resent that it's my fault :D

You should've put yourself to bed earlier, you're a grown man :):D

I agree with you Libby…shows lack of self-control…must be easily led.

Thanks Norm, But as for easily led , I would strongly disagree , If someone has a conversation with you and you find in amusing do you leave ? , If someone has a boring convo do you leave? , I blame libby for sence of humor, dowm to earth nature , quick wit and senseibility. :P
