Posted June 8, 200817 yr well, l was going to just post this on my blog but l thought that you guys might want to see this. Saturday l spent 5 hours weeding my front flower beds, and planting some flowers. it was alot of work for me to do especially when it was just me doing it. l thought it would be neat to post before and after pictures, to see the difference. this is my main flower bed Before After it looks a little dull, but l planted bulbs and seeds so it will be a few weeks before you will see flowers. next is my middle circle garden Before After in the middle is a type of a Dracaena plant, then snapdragons and on the edge is marigolds. my wild/natural flower bed Before After lastly is my dwarf iris flower bed Before After okay, l cannot resist not showing you some close up of my iris, l'm so happy that they bloomed this year. I had them for 3 years and they never bloomed until now. I thought they where duds. these shots where taken just after a light rain fall. Edited June 8, 200817 yr by birdluv spelling error

June 18, 200817 yr Looking good birdluv ]How do you guys keep your gardens going? Doesnt it get mighty cold and snow where you are (am I naive?LOL) mmm spose it snows here too!! (not where I am though) Neat- what more could you want than grass and a vegie patch I just wish I could do that!! It seems as soon as my vegies takeoff and start looking good we get a week of 40+ degrees and they dont like it
June 18, 200817 yr Author in the summer months here it gets very hot, last year we where getting +40. it is hot for about 4 months so we are able to have decent weather for gardens and plants. then we get cold to freezing weather for 8 months ( l do not really care for the cold and snow).
