Had A Scare Today

it was so nice outside today :hap: and i decided to put the birds outside, while i cleaned the bed room. the door to my back yard is in my bedroom, so while i vacuumed the floor i watched the triplets :P this is the part that scared me, i picked up the cage and was coming inside, when the bottom of the cage fell out  and i thought they would get outside and then i wouldn't be able to catch them. But luckily i was quick enough to put the cage back together :) a piece from the bottom of the cage had broken  i am so glad they are okay and i'm glad i'm getting them a new cage :)

phew!! that could have been disastrous!!

you are right '**Liv** :) its too wide to hold on the bottom, it would take 2 people to carry it :D next time i will get someone to help me lift it

Is there a way you can attach the top to the bottom so it cant happen again???

Oh and when do you get the new cage???

the bottom has a clip to lock the side, and i'm hoping to get the new cage in 2 weeks

For the time being get yourself some cable ties a pakt cost a few $$$ and use them insert through the hole that the cage attaches to the the base ...

On my travel cage I link a large belt right around it from top to bottom that way there is still something holding it on. But yes alot of the cages have handles but really they should never be carried by the.
