Is there a market out there for cuttle fish backbone? I have approx 5kg of it. Picked up off the beach washed in freshwater then left in the sun to dry. Varied sizes and pieces from 100mm long to 500mm long. I live in the Illawarra.

I'm sure there is, although I don't think you'll make much money... Someone may want to buy bulk, although after a while natural components start to get to it and it will decay...

You could try ebaying it.

If you hav'nt got a lience to collect cuttle bone,& Fishery & Wild Life see you,you may be in trouble.In Victoria anyway,

Not been caught myself,but know a breeder,that was,let off with a warning & had to leave the cuttle bone behind.
