Fuel Prices

Featured Replies

i live out in the bush so for me petrol prices are a joke. the nearest town with the everything is 20km away so there isnt the "lets duck into town for a drive" anymore. $20 doesnt give you much these days.

there is a lot of oil around Oz but they wont use it instead they buy the stuff in. if we used our own oil then petrol would be much cheaper for us

I agree timbo i saw this on the news it's a joke, $1.77 a litre yesterday !!!!

I fill up on a Tuesday Morning cost $98 lasts 1.5 weeks so I now fill back up again when it is half way too .....

Might add that we too don't go for our weekend drives anymore,

Well im sick of hearing about fuel prices , will everyone just get over it !, Supply equals demand , there is alot of demand so you have to pay thats it.

Everyone buys milk and its $1 per litre and there isnt the refining in milk that goes into fuel , and worse still a 600ml coke at a servo is $3.70 so how is that justified ? ??

There is still alot of oil reserves but it is deeper in the earth and so costs more to get it out = pay more at the pump .

To convert a car to gas is $3000 dollars and the govt will subsidise $2000 dollars , So get gas !
