Posted June 2, 200816 yr I tried to get some better pictures today when I cleaned the nesting box. The pictures of the 2 oldest chicks didnt turn out. I think im going to keep the yellow one he or she seems to be the friendliest one out of the four. Its the first time he has sat still for me! He is very flighty!

Mum escaped on me last week! But she was a sky blue with white greyish wings I think you call it a fish scale pattern.
June 2, 200816 yr Oh im so sorry thats horrible has dad been coping okay? It sounds like she was a spangle and he is a spangle so with the babies having black eyes i think that means they are DF spangles (which means double factor) Im sure someone will correct me if i am wrong either way they are still lil cuties what do the older ones look like?

Dad seems to be doing well. Im going to get him a new mate this week I hope. He is doing a great job feeding the chicks he has been voted father of the year in my house. I have a few pics of the other 2 I will post them in a few mins they just didnt turn out as good as i would have liked.
June 2, 200816 yr They are looking great Any baby/s you want to keep as your tame pet, all you have to do is hold them a few times a day - This will make them tame. Baby budgies are only flighty if they are not used to humans. I look forward to pictures of the other two

We are going to keep one of his babies the little yellow one you can already see its so full of charactor.
