In my breeding journal- Crackle and Tweet Tweet, they currently have 9 eggs. I know two are definately clear, 6 had veins and bubs in them when I checked last, and I'm not sure about the last. So, my question is this. What has been your largest clutch, in terms of eggs, babies hatched and babies raised to fledgling stage and above. Thanks all.

Seven eggs has been our largest clutch laid but they were all clear.

 

Second largest was 6 and the hen threw the first one out and the other five hatched and were raised by just the hen from 1 week onwards as the cock got really aggressive with her. They are 7 months old now

 

 

But then again we have only been breeding since last September/October

my biggest clutch has been 7 eggs with 5 hatching

I recently had a hen lay 7 eggs of which all were fertile.All eggs hatched and the parents reared them all without any problems at all!! Good luck with yours!!

10 eggs is fairly common with some of my hens, but all ten rarely hatch....towards the end they get too poopy. Most chicks I have had hatch was 9.

WOW maes, gezzzz that many eggs WOW - I hope you have lotsa healthy babies mate ... My largest clutch so far is 7 eggs 6 babies .......

I’ve had 10 eggs…had some with 8 & all hatched, but fostered some of the chicks.
