Yes, swelling around the vent area, more time spent in the nest box, scratching about or just sepnding time in there.

Hey and welcome, Like Nerwen said all of the above also i will add running poo Hen will look very swallon under the tail " Egg Bum " heheh ... When you see her like this you can expect an egg in the nest 48 hours

the other day i put two nest boxes in my avairy. preiviously i had a pair nest in one of them but the hen died. my flock has quite a few of teni's chick (grown) in it and they seem to be really interested in it but all they do is chew it to bits. Is this normal?
