i have been on the internet this morning browsing online stores to buy some egg and biscuit mix for when the babies hatch but there so many differnet brands and there is also budgie starter as well. Has anyone heard of the Passwell brands and if they are okay. What is the difference between Egg and biscuit mix and budgie starter.

I have the Passwell brand and my birds wont touch it hahaha. I haven't tried any other brands or budgie starter. I believe that you can use chicken starter on budgies, its the same stuff and A LOT cheaper

Passwell is an excellent brand and what i use to hand rear my babies.Egg and biscuit done by them is a good mix, although a little bit extra egg powder can always be added :)The difference between budgie starter by them and their egg and biscuit is that budgie starter is much like a hand rearing mixture with a few seeds in it and their egg and biscuit is like normal egg and biscuit.Chick starter for chickens are little pellets. The budgie starter is the same as hand rearing but with whole seeds mixed in.
