Sids...

Hi all,

As many of you may remember, earlier this year my brother in laws Sister and her husband lost their 5 1/2 mth old son Archer. (Here is my original thread if you missed it) They are obviously doing it tough, esp with Mothers Day just passing etc... As you may also know, Red Nose Day (which raises money for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), is also comming up.

Archer's father has organised an evening to celebrate the short life of Archer and raise money for SIDS. It will be held in Echuca in late June. The evening will involve an aution, a silent auction panel of guests (including AFL footballers) and will be hosted by Coxy (he hosts a weeknd holiday program in Australia). I am writing to to apeal to anyone who may like to help this worthy cause.

I know many members here have special talents, what ever that may be. If anyone would be interested in donating something which can be sold at the auction (all money going to SIDS), that would be awsome. Please don't feel that you have to, I am only asking if you are interested. You all gave such wonderful support to me and my family during this time, and I know many of you have said it felt like you lost one of your own. Anything will be very much appreciated. If you are interested in helping out, please feel free to PM me and we can go from there. I am also willing to pay for postage or anything that may help.

I will be going up to Echuca with my sister and brother to look after their kids for the night, and will be happy to take anything up. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and all your support thus far.

Regards maesie xoxo

I remember Maise, and they are in my thoughts and prayers (((HUGS))))

Aww, that sounds like a wonderful cause!!! I'd love to do something to sell!!!

Thanks all. It's times like these that will be hard for them... I'm sure they will get a lot of support and raise a lot of money for SIDS. Thanks also Libby for you offer, but I have just heard that Archer's family is overwhelmed with donations, so your thoughts and prayers are all I will ask for. Thanks again everyone. Maesie xxx
