May 20, 200816 yr Hi and welcome. It sounds like they are very busy raising them, but they can raise more... so I wouldn't be too worried. Try hard boiling an egg, then crushing it up, shell and all, and mixing it up with your veggies. This is softer and makes feeding eaiser. How are the chicks doing? Does it seem like they are getting enough food, are their crops full? If not you could possibly help them out with a feed from you (if you know how to do it). Let us know how you get on with them

May 20, 200816 yr Additional to the good advice already offered....buy some BUDGIE STARTER from a bird supply shop, mix some ( about a tablespoon or two ) with water to form a sloppy porridge consistency and serve in a small bowl as well as what they are already getting.
May 21, 200816 yr HI welcome to the Forum ...... Parents sound like they are doing a great job, and you too , I might add to the Awesome Advice already given is more softer feeds, try soaking some seed, Egg and Biscuit mixes and even some brown breed this make it easier on the parents to digest softer feed which then makes feeding the bubs alot easier and quick .....
May 22, 200816 yr Author Thank you to everyone for your great advice I really appreciate it One question what type of biscuts would you recomend to feed to the birds
May 22, 200816 yr You can make your own but you can just buy egg and biscuit frm the pet shop, also I give my breeding birds soaked chicken crumble instead of egg and biscuit. (The stuff you feed to baby chooks), you can get it in small bags from larger pet shops and stock feed places and even some supermarkets.
