I need some help on what is going on with my hen's cere it started off dark brown when she was in the pet store then it went powdery blue/white and now it looks like this.

She is fine She is just going in or out of breeding condition (which is completely normal for a hen)

 

Brown = in breeding condition

pasty brown = going in or going out of condition

whiteish blue = out of breeding condition

Liv is right...normal for a hen not in breeding condition.

Stupid question- Why do they go out of breeding condition and how long does it last? My hen was brown and ready to go when she was in with the colony and now she is in the cabinet she has gone out of season should i leave her there?

well my hen stayed out of condition for months and months but she was young how old is your hen because, if she has the right things to trigger her nesting instink she may go back into contition im not sure.
