I have found an easy way to soak seed that allows you to easily rinse without losing half of it down the sink or transferring to a strainer all the time. If you put your seed in the wire basket of one of those little tea pots that is a pot with a wire basket to put your leaves in you can easily lift it out and replace the water or rinse it without the seeds going everywhere. I now have three sitting on my bench which I cycle through when I need soaked seed on a daily basis.

Probably not Kaz, but a large wire strainer sitting in a big bowl would do the same thing.

I use pantyhose........ To drain the seedswith out loosing them ....
