May 15, 200817 yr Author Feathers and I have three pairs we are breeding together at my house. One of the pairs is Buffy and Valentino. Buffy, is a very nice grey spangle hen of Feathers and Valentino is a grey green spangle of mine. Valentino takes after his name...a real smoothie in the romance department. They had four eggs, and one was clear. Three fertile. Today, surprisingly all three hatched at the same time, same day. So they have three new babies in there. Cross your fingers for some nice chicks. First chick rung will belong to Feathers Buffy and Valentino First fatty boobah chick due for its legring tomorrow....it belongs to Feathers. I have her legrings ready and waiting.
May 15, 200817 yr Gosh I wish! My OH is in the Navy and lives on base so when he comes home he is used to having a tiny room to look after and someone to wash the dishes, etc for him, the idea of keeping a whole house tidy and putting your own dishes in the dishwasher is just too much!! That being said if I prod him he will build my aviaries so as long as he does that I'll forgive him
May 15, 200817 yr OMG ! I am sooo with sunnie on that one ... I've noticed once i have 3 weeks old chicks and up the house work dies off and I am spending all my time with them LOL > My OH (other Half) works 50+ Hours a week so the least I can do is let him come home to a clean house and etc ... I have troubles with him and his dam wet towels lol . But he loves to build and make things LOL ...... Aren't they just HANDY !!!

May 17, 200816 yr If they all hatched at once & it's a bit like Lotto, how are you going to decided which one gets the first ring, second & third…get some numbered balls??? Seeing Nicknack isn’t around someone’s gotta try to make a few jokes to keep things going, sorry if there not as good as his, but no ones feeding me cake or donuts, so what can you expect. :hap: Edited May 17, 200816 yr by Norm
May 18, 200816 yr Author If they all hatched at once & it's a bit like Lotto, how are you going to decided which one gets the first ring, second & third…get some numbered balls??? Seeing Nicknack isn’t around someone’s gotta try to make a few jokes to keep things going, sorry if there not as good as his, but no ones feeding me cake or donuts, so what can you expect. Even though they all hatched at the same time, there is a size difference and they seem to be as they would have been if hatched normally every second day or so. Easy.
May 18, 200816 yr They look lovely. They almost look like they are going to be dominant pieds, by the lack of marking on the head...???
May 18, 200816 yr Here's the bubs today....what will they be ?? They would have to be Greys or Grey Green Spangles, maybe some Normals, they look pretty Dark. They look like Monks with their heads shaven.
May 19, 200816 yr Author Two eldest chicks today have yellow pin feathers. Looks like green normals maybe.
August 7, 200816 yr Author Any update on this pairs young as it looks very interesting John Unfortunately every chick in this nest had a very serious form of feather problems. Two chicks died and the other was so bad it had to be put to sleep.
