Sorry Denise!!! Still no news yet. The agent is waiting on a decision from the landlord... It has been a very long week. I'm getting kind of stressed and very tired as I can't seem to sleep... I have NOOOOOO patience!!! :hap:

Sorry to hear this I can understand and feel your disappointment, I have been there before too you just cry and have to move on , hugs.

Thanks for the hug Elly! It's hard not to be sad etc... even though you tell yourself there will be more places, and better places, and I am in no hurry. After seeing the place though, and applying, you can see yourself and your furnature in there... mmmm, must move on. I did decide though, that I am going to be moody, upset and angry tonight... and I have eaten lots of chocolate, chips etc... Then, when I wake up in the morning, I will move on.

I have a seperate area in my house with two bedrooms and it's own private bathroom, partitioned off from the rest of the house by a door. I have rented it out before and it worked really well, plus we can have whatever pets we like! Pity you are so far away.

 

I also now of a great two bedroom place on a hobby farm in Gisborne, but that's probably too far away also.

Oh... sounded good , damn! I'm only really looking in the suburbs around Geelong, because if I move too far away, I won't be able to afford to drive to work (with the petrol prices grr)

Petrol is awful at the moment, I'm glad I only live just around the cornr from work.

The renting thing is bad at the moment,even up here in brisbane and I think there shouold be more properties avaiable where animals are allowed.

Seen as you are going all out and moving out and happy to be single , why dont you dive all the way in and buy a three bedroom house , rent out two bedrooms for $120 a week each throw in your $200 and that makes $440 and thats enough to pay the house off,

You guessed it... I got a unit. I get the keys in 3 weeks tomorrow!!! I'm very excited. It is a two bedroom flat, with plenty of room. I can have my lizards, but not my birds. It is however only 2 minutes from my house, so they'll be staying at home and I'll look after them there. I will be pushing to be alowed to have some inside birds. I have a feeling the avairy wasn't allowed because of noise issues for other tenants and possible the errection of a structure?!?! I'm going to sign the lease tomorrow, so I'll check it out more than. My theory is that I wont be here for ever, so leaving them at home is not a massive deal. If it becomes too much, I'd have to look at selling them, but I'll deal with that if it comes to it.... and I know there are a few local members I'd trust to take on my babies.

 

Um..... so yeah, very pumped Dad and I are having a few ales :beer: and take away tea to celebrate tonight....
