How do you guys that selectively breed do it all the time I'm going nuts and there is still three days until the first egg is due to hatch! Then I will be impatient for feathers

The more you have breeding at one time the easier it is.

Remember, patience is a virtue

I'm glad I don't breed something that takes ages to be born! 18 days is more than I can handle

I get a bit anxious as well. Especially if I have my bet cock over my best hen. (I have that at the moment and have 4 days until they hatch).

Any news…did you check if they are fertile?

:Sigh: No news... I have been able to see the babies moving in the eggs so short of any disasters they are definately fertile. Should be today or tomorrow for the first one.
