Some more photo updates.

Deb and I are doing a trade. I am moving away from pet type birds and she is after some pieds, so we are swapping some. Trust me, there has been a long conversation. Anyway, here are some pics of the birds Deb is getting next Satruday.

Mozzarella - brother to the 4 2 pieds and 2 yellow faces deb received earlier in the year. Unlike his recessive sky blue brothers, he is cobalt

Mel - the picture does not do her justice but she i a violet cobalt - electric in colour. She has paired up well with Macaroni - uncle to Mozzarelle

Maccaroni- looks almost identical to his brother and nephews. Sorry deb, good luck telling these guys apart. i cannot.

Mozarella and Genevieve - Genevieve is sister to my DF dom pied and Gabrielle (Pale Ale), daughter of an Albino and Hugo, a DF Dom pied

Ozzie - Ozzie i a rehomed budgie, but still very young. His owners went overseas to England to live. He bonds well with other birds and is a real cutie.

Kaui - (means beautiful in hawaiian I think). She looks like a dark eye creamino, but in actuality she is a YF2 mauve pied with very little markings. I would say that she would be a DF dom pied due to her lack of markings, but that is impossible as mother was an Albino split to recessive mauve pied, whilst father was a yellow faced blue splangle, not sure what he was split to and now will never know.

Thanks Elly and Jodie. I do like the different colours.

Well, today is was so hot, I decided to cool my aviary down with a spray of the hose, on a mist setting of course. Here are some shots. I will name the birds, so previosu owners can see their loved ones.

Big Bird (one called Boof by Missylu)

The youngest coupling in the aviary - Geo the Journeyman with Gabrielle (Pale Ale). If these 2 had kids, imagine the stories they could tell their kids on their lives.

I love the wet budgie hanging on the cage that would be an awesome caption picture. Dave I think I could sit in your aviary with a chair in the morning and drink my coffee and enjoy all the doing of your birds, they look wonderful and the aviary looks so awesome inside. :party0011:.
