Posted May 3, 200817 yr Heya ..... Miss me didn't you !!! lol Guys, just wondering if anyone out there has TCB Baby picture 2 weeks old would be nice however know I am pushing the friendship ... I want to confirm that my chick is one Many thank Guys
May 3, 200817 yr I have one just that age in the nest right now Neat. I will get a picture in the morning for you
May 3, 200817 yr I haven’t got a picture of that age Neat, what are the parents of the chick you suspect might be TCB? The only TCB you have is a hen isn’t it? If my memory is any good. It would have to be paired with a split TCB to give you any TCB chicks, or maybe come from a split cock that you didn’t even know you had. I can’t tell chicks till they get some body feathers on their breast, sometimes you may see some feathers just on the rump near the tail, if it’s Green series they will be pale Yellow, I haven’t had a Blue one yet but guess they would be almost White.
May 4, 200817 yr Sorry Neat....my supposed TCB has turned into a green spangle with new feathers I have other photos of others though so I will look for you.
May 5, 200817 yr Author Thanks guys am adjusting the size of the pics now and will up load...This is the fostered chick it is from the parents that my TCB (gypsy) came from .... Which is werid as the mum is a Olive Opaline Normal and th Dad is a skyblue dilute spangel They produced Mybird (Dom pied clear flight), Gypsy (yellow TCB) Lutinos, and Olive spangels .......PB is slow so i got this one up so far
May 5, 200817 yr Author Hmmmm, None óf it's brothers or sister is nor have the parents ever thrown a dom pie before??? Funny??? Ahhh well I love it just the same,
May 5, 200817 yr By the last little feather on it's wing it probably isn't dom pied, but is certainly an opaline spangle
May 5, 200817 yr Opaline spangle the spangle markings are there on the flights also, its just that they are pale at this stage. I can see them on my monitor .
May 5, 200817 yr Author By the last little feather on it's wing it probably isn't dom pied, but is certainly an opaline spangle Opaline Spangle Expains it as that is what it's parents are, However that last 2 flight fethers have me stumped, and I don't remember what gypsy looked lke as a bub

Many spangles have the odd splodge or two. Have a look through some spangle budgie pictures and you will see a lot with splotches where they shouldnt have
