Of course in joking about puppies, but how can I tell if my budgie willl be laying any eggs?

When you have a nestbox and it will be going in 8 days b4 she lays!

It CAN be up to 8 days some wil start laying earlier, some later. To tell she would have a slightly swollen vent just before laying maybe a day before. She would be spending lots of time in the nest box, clean or stratching or just sitting there.
